I completed a five year Psychotherapy and Counselling training at WPF Therapy one of Britain’s top certified training institutions with a reputation for clinical excellence.

I hold a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice.

I am a member of the following: UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).

I am committed to ethical practice and abide by the Code of Ethics of all the councils and societies I am a member of.

I have trained and practised with CRUSE the bereavement counselling charity and with Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Befriending scheme.

Prior to training as a Psychotherapist I attended a London University and worked for many years in the media, creative and property industries.

I believe that having worked in a number of different occupations, that I have enormous experience, of how difficult and stressful the creative and professional lives of people can really be. The expectations or demands may be different in each industry but perhaps there is a similarity in terms of human desire for recognition and success.

I trained in psychotherapy and counselling because I felt that I had a number of career and life experiences, some of which were very good, others, that were very painful and traumatic. I found that there are some aspects of life you can change through therapy, others, you just have to try to come to terms with- painful as that maybe.
